It is the contracting entity’s assessment that\n there is no other supplier than Biolab as the Danish distributor of Jasco instruments\n that can meet the technical requirements for the purchase due to a need for compatibility\n with existing Jasco polarimetry, absorbance, fluorescence and circular dichroism spectroscopic\n equipment and the dedicated software for control and analysis. Furthermore, it is\n required that the entirety of the instrument park can be operated within the same\n software environment, Jasco Spectra Manager v. 2 with the associated sub-routines,\n macros, and programs including instrument controller software and software for analysis\n of spectral data. The continued use of this software is needed as existing analytical\n methods and procedures should be forward applicable and existing data must be available\n for future use within the same software environment, allowing then the direct transfer\n of methods and users between the existing and new equipment. We are thus seeking a\n solution where there is a maximum interoperability between requisitioned instruments\n and backwards compatibility to existing instruments.
