Description of the cases boxes to be purchased Danmarks Nationalbank will place an order for: • 15.060 pieces of 500-krone silver boxes • 4.030 pieces of 20-krone proof boxes The purpose of the boxes is, that they shall display high end quality coins produced for Danmarks Nationalbank. The end customers shall be able to open and close the box several times, and at the same time be able to take out the capsule with the coin from the inlay and replace it inside the inlay again. This mean that the capsule must be firmly fitted in the inlay but at the same time not be so tight that the capsule cannot easily be taken out. The final boxes shall have the similar form, design and dimensions as the boxes Danmarks Nationalbank has been using in 2020. See pictures of final presentation of both coin boxes from 2020 in Appendix 1, Picture 1 to 16. Description of the boxes: Both box types shall be made of black cardboard for the inside lid and the flap. The cardboard has black cover paper. The dimensions for the boxes are: • Inside approx. 60x60x15 mm. • Outside approx. 65x66x21 mm Expected delivery in Q1 2021.
