Aalborg University — Department of Clinical Medicine/Hematology needs to purchase a cell sorter based on flow cytometry utilizing a disposable microfluidics sorting chip in place of a traditional flow cell + nozzle. It is necessary for the research that the cell sorter has microfluidic sorting chips. We work with a great variety of cell sizes from stem cells to large cell lines and cells from primary tissue so the nozzle size must be adjustable. At present we use 70 μm for all peripheral blood and bone marrow cells; 85-100 μm for cell lines, and 130 μm for fragile and large epithelial colon cells, macrophages and megakaryotes with a diameter above 25 μm.
We have only found 1 supplier that can deliver equipment fulfilling our requirements.
